Alexia is a main character from the Blood of Zeus series. She is the Grand Archon of the Amazons and assisted Heron in his fight against the Demons.
History[]
Alexia was born into the royal family of the Amazons, her mother died giving birth to her and her father could not overcome his loss so he was unable to look after Alexia and raise her. She was raised by her aunt Chrysanthe who educated her in the art of battle.
Alexia was trained by Chiron, a centaur, to fight for what is right and defend those who cannot defend themselves. She is also the leader of the Amazons and calls herself "Grand Archon Alexia."
Throughout the Series[]
Season 1[]
A Call to Arms[]
Alexia and her men are chasing two demons, who manage to slip away from her and head toward the town.
Meanwhile, Heron collects some ore but only earns two drachmas. As he returns to his mother, Electra, they hear noises and see Alexia, who informs them that she is looking for a demon. The townspeople deny seeing any, and she continues on her way.
The demon attacks him, but Alexia returns and starts fighting him. In a pinch, Heron helps Alexia, but the demon manages to escape. She and her men search the town for the demon. She sees a man hiding his face and attacks him. She sees he has the same wound she inflicted on the demon and tells her men to arrest him.
Alexia gathers the people of the town and explains that an army from the east descends upon them. She burns the man with a hot iron to reveal that he is a demon. As the man turns, he tries to tell them that they are the strong and the humans are the weak, but she beheads him before he finishes speaking.
In the morning, Alexia tells Heron that he fought bravely and invites him to join her in fighting against demons and protecting the town. Heron has no such desire as they had forsaken him and his mother. Seeing Alexia leaving, Heron states that he should have gone with her.
Past is Prologue[]
Alexia inspects the map she took from the demon and realizes there is a map within the map. Demons then reveal themselves wanting the map back. Alexia's troops are easily defeated, but she manages to escape. Alexia then appears to be being chased by a three-headed dog.
The Raid[]
Heron and Alexia fight a three-headed dog and managed to kill one of the heads. As the demons come, they run towards the town. Heron tells them they can escape using the mines and heads to look for his mother.
A demon tracker returns, stating that they picked Alexia's scent, and Seraphim then kills Aratus as he doesn't need him anymore.
The demons are about to catch Alexia, and Zeus meddles, causing roses to grow and hide her. Seeing he interferes, Hera decides to do so and sends Alexia's cape towards Electra, making the demons go after her.
A Monster is Born[]
Alexia comes out from hiding and sees all the dead people. Elias, who holds Electra, tells her that the man she looks for is taken captive, and she leaves.
Escape or Die[]
Alexia reaches the centaur village, where she meets her mentor, Chiron. Alexia knew that Chiron could read it, which makes Chiron comment that if she knew it, so would her enemy.
At that moment, demons led by Seraphim show up, and Chiron explains that they arrived a little before her and that he could risk a war and endanger his people. Alexia starts fighting them, but before she is killed, Chiron saves her, giving her the map and commenting that the deal was the map for Alexia's life. However, Seraphim tells him to choose between her and his people, and he lets them take her.
Back to Olympus[]
Elias tells Heron that he is the key to this war and wants to help him. He tells Evios that he is aware of what deal he made and he needs to redeem himself, so he must go with Alexia to Melidani and navigate the labyrinth to find the giant's remains and burn them.
Heading towards Melidoni, Alexia realizes they are being followed and sees Chiron. He gives her a copy of the map he managed to make and explains that they can enter Melidoni through the Fields of the Dead.
The Fields of the Dead[]
Alexia reaches the Fields of the Dead; Chiron explains that it's there that the gods fought the giants. They need to cross it, but they shouldn't rush and never turn around, as it will cost them their lives. Before they go, Alexia tells Chiron to return to his people as he has done enough, and they must protect his knowledge. Going into the mist, they start to see things, and one of the men turns around but turns to stone. Alexia sees her parents, but knowing it's not real, she manages not to turn. Going through the mist, they face a satyr, but Heron arrives and kills it with an arrow.
Alexia and the rest reach the labyrinth and navigate it. They reach the location with the giant remains, but they are gone. Seraphim shows up with demons, and Heron realizes they moved the remains. Seraphim asks Heron to join him and get their vengeance on the gods as they are the reason for all of this and that their mother is dead. Heron tells him that Zeus can turn him into a human again, but Seraphim tells him to choose whether he is with or against him. Heron chooses not to join him, and they start a fight with the demons. Most perish in the fight, with only Heron, Alexia, Kofi and Evios managing to escape and run away with the griffon.
War for Olympus[]
While the gods and giants fight, Heron, Alexia, Kofi, and Evios search for the Cauldron, but can't find it. They see the arrow he shot in the air, and his hand landed with two dead crows on it.
Heron manages to get the Cauldron, but Seraphim catches up to him and kills the griffon. The giant is about to step on Hera, and Zeus sacrifices himself to stop him. Seraphim then cuts Hera's arm with Hermes bracer but escapes before Seraphim kills her. As Seraphim obtains both the Cauldron and the bracer, the giants turn against all gods. Using a pegasus and another smaller griffon, Kofi makes Seraphim drop the Cauldron, and Alexia kills Seraphim's manticore. Heron later wakes up bandaged in bed. Hermes tells him that Zeus was proud of him, just like they are now. He sees the gods fixing all the damage to Olympus from the battle and reunites with Alexia, Kofi, and Evios.
Season 2[]
In A Shadow Emerges, she is seen fighting in the war against Hera's forces, siding with Zeus and fighting for the most part alongside Heron.
In Funeral Games, she, alongside Evios and Kofi, approaches the distraught Heron, who states his plans to depart the next day.
The next day, the group visited the arena where a series of competitions were to be held for Zeus' ring was the grand prize.
When Heron was about to face off against Ares in a boxing match, Alexia begged Heron to reconsider, but his mind was made up. After Heron's boxing match is interrupted by Hera, Alexia appears and hauls Heron away. After Hermes takes Zeus' soul to the Underworld, Heron tells his friends that Gaia told him to search for the Adamantium Sword and save his brother.
In Judgement Day, Alexia accompanies Heron to his old home to find a piece of adamantine, but to no avail. They eventually find mutilated corpses close to Heron's house, which Hermes claimed was caused by Keres, which surprised Alexia, who remarks they only eat the dead. However, Hermes informs them that since Zeus' death, they have started feasting on the living. He also informs Evios of a lady he knows has been located, making Evios part ways with the group.
In Crossing Paths, Alexia accompanies Heron alongside Kofi to where he originally found the Adamantine, but it is nowhere to be found. Screams are heard, and thanks to Alexia's moral argument, she persuades Heron to investigate the screams.
Reaching the source of the screams, the group finds themselves in a foggy mine where a lady warns them about the Keres and dies. Searching inside the caves, they find the Keres and are disadvantaged because of the cover of darkness. Heron then uses his lightning ability to illuminate the cave, allowing Alexia to slay one of the Keres and defeat another.
After Heron warned the Keres to follow Zeus' creed, the group exited the cave, bringing another corpse of a lady with them. For the lady who they first met and warned them about the Keres. Alexia placed two coins over her eyes as the remnants of the villagers came out of hiding. One of the villagers recognized Alexia, and from the person, they learned of where Electra was likely buried.
Heron's group finds the wounded Seraphim and treats his wounds. They don't recognize him, and when he later introduces himself, he goes by the name Icarus. He details his goal, which is to find the grave of a priestess named Gorgo, and the group agrees to assist him in locating it. Kofi would remark that Seraphim's eyes reflected that of: Love, War, and Gods.
Afterward, Heron locates the adamantine, and Alexia notices that Icarus is gone. Heron and Alexia then have a heart-to-heart about Heron's actions in the cave, but the primordial goddess Iris arrives and delivers a scroll to Heron.
In The Hidden Realm, Heron's group locates Talos and deduces that the sword is inside Talos' head. Alexia managed to get into Talos' head but failed to retrieve the sword inside of it, causing her to fall deeper into Talos's body, which was filled with water. There, a Hyrda swam, and the alerted Alexia tried to attack it and, with Kofi's help, managed to slay it using the sword they were after.
Afterward, the group is rescued by Amazonian warrioresses led by a friend of Alexia named Chrysanthe. They learn from her the world's current events and deduce that the man called Icarus was Seraphim. Figuring that Hades had a hand in Seraphim's revival, Heron deduces that Hades' goal is to retrieve the Elusinian Stone.
With that in mind, the group rides off on their pegasuses, but before that, Alexia says her goodbyes to Chrysanthe, who gives her a proud, heartfelt compliment.
In The Three Trials, she accompanies Heron and Kofi to the Hidden Realm, where she informs the two about the history of the Curetes. After Heron proves his lineage to the Curètes and learns that Seraphim is under the alias Nobody, he has already passed through there. When Heron tries to open the door to the Hidden Realm but fails, Alexia whispers words of encouragement into Seraphim's ear, allowing him to figure out how to open the door.
Afterward, Alexia and Kofi watch the Gods fight over the Eleusinian Stone.
Season 3[]
In Brothers' Journey, Alexia and Kofi rescue Heron from Typhon using the invisibility cloaks that Athena gifted them. To their surprise, Heron rescues Seraphim from Typhon and their Satyr pursuers. Once the coast is clear, Alexia starts to argue with Seraphim about their heated past with each other. This makes Seraphim try to leave along with Heron, which Alexia and Kofi are perplexed as to why, and learn from Heron that he promised to help him with a goal of his, and that he believes he's the prophesied one.
In The Head of the Maenads, Alexia and the rest of the group witness the Maenad tribe perform the Rite of Sparagmos. During it, they see that Evios was set to be sacrificed by the tribe. They interrupt it in hopes of rescuing Evio; however, the noxious hallucinogenic gases from the bonfire cause them to falter. Thankfully, Heron uses his god-like lightning powers to destroy the bonfire and disperse the gases. Heron then demands that the tribe lead them to Orpheus, whom Seraphim sought his guidance from, and in Orpheus' cave, Alexia answers his riddle correctly to allow Seraphim to ask his question. They learn from Orpheus where the necklace he seeks is in the Wind Tower and is worn by Potnia.
Outside Orpheus' cave, the Maenad tribe parted ways with the group, and Evios decided to rejoin them after Kofi received his wife's pendant from Theope, the leader of the Maenad tribe.
In The Tower of the Winds, as the group scouts out the area, Alexia remarks that flying to their destination would be unwise, lest they attract the sentries' attention in the watch towers.
While the group prepares for the mission ahead, Alexia has a heart-to-heart with Kofi about his wife's pendant. They later ambush a group of sentries, leaving all but one alive to learn how to communicate with the other sentries that the coast is clear. However, the sentry lies to them, raising an alarm in the area.
Progressing with caution, the group finds the temple tower that Potnia was in and locates the room where they suspected she was, but discover the corpses of the four former Wind Gods. There, Potnia's disembodied voice fills the room, and she taunts and briefly possesses Alexia, causing her to attack the others. Once Seraphim and Heron were possessed, Alexia went down the hallway and discovered that Potnia was watching over them through the mirrors. The discovery causes Potnia to repossess Alexia and slam her against the walls around the hallway, but she manages to inform the others about Potnia's mirrors. After being freed from her possession, Alexia locates Potnia and tries to steal her necklace, but Potnia overpowers her, until Kofi arrives to try and save her, only to be stabbed by Alexia's sword.
To retrieve the necklace, Kofi sacrifices himself and Potnia in the ring of fire that Potnia had manifested. Now in possession of the necklace, Alexia returns to the group and informs them of Kofi's death, which Evios takes the hardest. They then escape on Seraphim's flying creatures, but Evios cuts ties with the group, and Alexia is barred from following them due to the nature of what lies ahead in the Underworld. However, she warns them that Kofi's blood is on their hands.
In Land of the Dead, Alexia and Evios are approached by Hera, who, when Seraphim and Heron exit the Underworld, Seraphim tries to attack her, but Alexia stops him and asks that he give her a chance.
In A Champion's Challenge, a Battle of Champions is decided between the Titans and Olympian Gods, with Kronos and Typhon facing against Heron and Seraphim. After this decision is made, Alexia talks with some of the Olympian Gods and later has a heart-to-heart with Heron. They discuss the plan, how her mother broke her Amazonian Vow to be with her father, who seemingly regretted doing so, and was willing to break it herself to be with Heron. However, Heron refused to allow Alexia to break her vow for his sake. Alexia accepts this, but kisses him twice while confessing her feelings toward him and asks to be his shield bearer, which he accepts.
On the day of the battle, Alexia hands Heron his shield and watches the battle unfold with Evios. When Heron sacrifices himself to kill Typhon, Alexia tries to run toward him, but is stopped by Evios.
Physical Appearance[]
Alexia is an athletic 5'8" woman with a thin face, fair skin, hazel/amber eyes, blond eyebrows, and eyelashes. She wears a bronze breastplate, a red cloak with accents, a white fabric skirt under a brown pteruges belt, golden greaves, and brown leather sandals.
In the first part of the series, she wears chalcidian helmet made of bronze, with two red horsehair crests and a stylized eagle on the forehead whose wings act as cheek protections. After losing her helmet, she reveals curly blonde hair ending at the back with a long braid tied in a red ribbon.
Personality[]
Alexia is a focused and determined warrior who rarely displays emotion throughout the show, except on a few occasions. Despite this, she has a strong sense of justice, hates to see innocent people being oppressed, and possesses a kind-hearted personality at her core. She seemed to be angered and hurt by Chiron's preference for his people over her.

Trivia[]
- Although not confirmed, according to Greek mythology, the Amazons were a tribe of female warriors who lived in Central Asia or North Africa. Legends said that they mated with other tribes to preserve their race but kept only female infants. They were said to amputate their right breasts so that they could shoot better with bows and arrows. Later historians claimed that the Amazons were a tribe of men and women in which both sexes fought in battles.
